ELECTRO cell S20 is an unipolar square wave generator specializing in transfection procedures.
For in vitro and in vivo experiments, ELECTRO cell S20 offers the possibility to set all relevant parameters, in order to reach the best efficiency for proteins or gene delivery.
Transfection parameters:
On the welcome page, choose:
Voltage level (U) between 0-2 000V (by 8V step)
Length pulse (T) between 5µs- 50ms (by 5µs step)
Period of the pulse repetition (P) between 1ms-10 000 ms (by 1ms step)
Number of pulse repetition (R) up to 10 000 or infinite (by 1 unit step)
Various types of electrodes can be connected to ELECTRO cell devices that provide a uniform electric field:
For cell suspensions:
- Two parallel plate electrodes embedded in a standard electroporation cuvette (2, 4 or 8mm apart) connected to the power unit by a cuvette-holder. A connection box makes the generator compatible with most of the commercialized cuvette chambers.
For adherent plated cells, electropulsation may be carried out directly in the well:
- Two stainless-steel parallel plate electrodes with an interelectrode distance of 2, 5, 8 and 10mm.
The ELECTRO cell S20 is capable of performing all the functions of the previous electropulsators GHT 1287 and PS15 formerly distributed by Jouan.
